Please have a copy of your house key ready to be picked up during our initial New Client Meeting. It is highly recommended that you keep a copy of your house key on file with us. The tags are labeled only with the names of your pets, never your name or address. When not in use, keys are secured in a locked key cabinet. Should you require a last minute visit, we will easily be able to accommodate your needs. If you choose not to keep a key on file, you will be billed for a regular visit each time it is necessary for us to pick up or drop off your key.
Comfy Critters Pet and Home Sitting reserves the right to refuse service to any client, at any time, for any reason.
While we will try our best to accommodate same day requests, we cannot guarantee availability. All approved services requested with less than 24 hours notice are subject to additional fees.
Your pet's health and well being are our primary concerns and we would not want them to go unattended due to weather or travel delays, or a miscommunication with scheduling. You must confirm arrival home via client portal or text messages for any time you have been out of town/on vacation. If we do not hear from you and we are unable to reach you, we will continue visits and you will be charged accordingly.
Payment is due in full by the start of each service period. Accepted forms of payment are cash, check made payable to Comfy Critters Pet and Home Sitting and credit/debit cards processed through your client portal. Post dated checks are not accepted. Late payment and/or returned check fees will apply.
We are released from all liabilities for pet(s) and property during the time(s) any third party is granted access to the home, whether sharing responsibility for your pet(s) and/or property or not. This includes, but is not limited to, family, friends, neighbors, etc. Pet care provided by anyone other than Comfy Critters Pet and Home Sitting must be discussed and approved prior to service, and we reserve the right to cancel service due to shared pet care.
The initial New Client Meeting at you home is free of charge, as well as any introduction of a new pet in the household. All additional meetings at the client's home to discuss pet care instructions, pick up/drop off key or for any other reason will be billed as a regular visit.
Due to the high demand of service requests during the holidays, we require a 50% nonrefundable deposit for all services booked during the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas through New Year's Day. Service requests and deposits should be made no later than November 1st for Thanksgiving and December 1st for Christmas/New Year's. If we are able to accommodate any holiday requests submitted after November 1st or December 1st, the deposit will increase to 75% and is due upon booking. All remaining balances must be paid no later than the first date of service. There will be no refunds or credits for any cancellations or changes made.
